Who are we?
At Carbon Complete, we are a passionate team of consultants dedicated to helping businesses navigate the complex world of sustainability. From CBAM management, energy efficiency, ESG, to grant funding and carbon credits. Our mission is simple – to be your innovative partner in sustainable development and provide a complete, end-to-end service that drives compliance, profitability, and positive environmental impact.
Carbon Complete was born from a lifelong friendship and a shared vision. Michael, from Cashelard in Donegal, and Conor, from Marlow in Buckinghamshire, grew up across the road from each other – thanks to Conorโs grandparents living opposite Michaelโs house. That early bond evolved into a partnership rooted in curiosity, entrepreneurship, and a drive to make business better.
After founding Customs Complete, a global consultancy in international trade and customs clearance, we worked with companies across nearly every industry. It became clear that sustainability wasnโt just a trend – it was a transformative force. We saw how new regulations, while complex, could actually unlock efficiency, profitability, and long-term value. Inspired by John Mackeyโs idea of โWin Win Winโ outcomes – where businesses thrive, stakeholders benefit, and the planet is protected – we began exploring how to make sustainability practical and impactful.
What we found was frustrating: many companies were spending millions on carbon credits that delivered little to no real benefit. It felt like a missed opportunity to create genuine change. So we launched Carbon Complete to offer a better way – helping businesses comply with evolving regulations while improving their environmental footprint and bottom line.
Our approach is different. As the sister company to Customs Complete, we bring a unique perspective shaped by global trade expertise. We act as an outsourced sustainability department, delivering comprehensive services at a fraction of the cost. Our mission is to help companies achieve true Win Win Win outcomes – compliance, profitability, and positive impact.
Weโre proud to have trained professionals from scratch on CBAM and helped companies build entire sustainability departments. Our partnership with IACBAM as their official trainer across multiple countries is a milestone weโre especially proud of.
Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to fund and run innovative sustainability projects, support a network of entrepreneurs, and drive meaningful change in manufacturing – moving away from planned obsolescence toward repairable, recyclable, and circular design.
